2021 Riesling Off Dry

Solely from our cooler east facing slope known as 'the other side', this riesling requires the added residual sugar of the off-dry style to balance it's ample acidity. Our goal is to produce a riesling that, while it may be easily approachable and best paired with a warm afternoon, is still a complex wine with the depth and nuance to accompany food.

2021 Pinot Blanc

Alsation in style, our estate Pinot Blanc walks the line between bright acidity and rich mouthfeel. This is a balanced wine that pairs wonderfully with food, yet can also be enjoyed on its own. The Pinot Blanc is largely fermented in neutral oak and aged sur lie with some battonage.

2020 Riesling Dry

A dry riesling made in an Alsatian style, the minimal residual sugar is balanced nicely by bright acidity, which dances on the tongue and invites one to create food pairings. This wine was fermented slowly in stainless steel to preserve the nuanced fruit characters.

2020 Riesling East Block

A homage to some of the great late harvest wines of Alsace, this medium sweet (28g/l R.S.) wine is beautiful honeyed nectarines and orange sorbet on the palate with aromas of mango tropical fruit and honeydew melon. The additional residual sugar is well balanced by our high acidity levels (pH 2.95 and TA 7.8) so as not to come across cloying. For food pairing think spicier asian dishes -- Kimchi fried rice with pork and gochujang has become one of my favorites or for more of a local flavor any of Rogue Creamery's blue cheeses would pair beautifully.

2021 Pinot Noir Rosé

Our dry rosé comes largely from fruit grown just down the road at Salerno Vineyard outside of Monroe, Oregon with about 10% from our own estate vineyard. The Salerno Vineyard is a lower elevation planting of Pinot Noir and the vines produce wines with expressive fruit driven flavors of strawberry, red raspberries and melon, while our estate fruit is Wadenswil clone Pinot Noir and late to ripen, offering acidity and complexity. Minimal skin contact of under 2 hours before pressing and the bright acidity keep this dry style of rosé light and refreshing and is the perfect compliment to light summer fare or it can be enjoyed by itself.

2020 Pinot Noir Lylee

Our 'Lylee' bottling is our first Pinot Noir bottling of our estate vineyard each year and is meant to be a fruit forward and opproachable representation of our vineyard. Our winemaker Matt sees this wine as less a reflection of his winemaking and more a representation of  the vintage, the Brigadoon site and the vineyard decisions he and his father Chris have made over the years. New oak is kept at a minimum and is only intended to act as the framework for bright red fruit flavors.

2019 Pinot Noir Pairings

A blend of two non estate vineyards, Union School in the South Willamette Valley and Big Cheese in the Eola-Amity Hills, our 'Pairings' is a wine club exclusive wine, which Sheree delves into her developing cookbook to find the perfect complimentary dish. Each wine club shipment includes a recipe that we hope finds it's way to your dining room table. Pure red cherry fruit jumps out on nose with developing darker tones and blueberry weight. Earth and pencil shavings provide complexity and balance to the initial burst of fresh fruit. On the palate, this is a lighter bodied and elegant Pinot Noir, but has the texture and length that can see it through to cellaring 5-10 years. Only 75 cases were produced.

2018 Pinot Noir Taproot

The 'Taproot' bottling is a selection of our winemaker Matt's favorite barrels of the vintage. He largely chooses barrels from our oldest vines, which is a block of Dijon 115 and Wadenswil clone Pinot Noir planted in 1997. The Taproot may also include select barrels from other parts of our estate vineyard, depending on the vintage. However, this emphasis on older vines and the Wadenswil clone give the wine a rustic elegance with the focus on earth, spice, and a backdrop of red fruit, reminiscent of classic Oregon Pinot Noir.
